We’re delighted to announce that ‘Managing My Investments’ launches for a second presentation on FutureLearn today. This free, six-week moderated course is designed to help you better understand the world of investments and financial markets.
The course is the second in a series developed by the True Potential Centre for the Public Understanding of Finance in partnership with the Open University Business School. The Centre aims to empower the UK public to better manage their finances and so far True Potential Centre for the Public Understanding of Finance, which include ‘Managing My Money’ and ‘Managing My Investments’. A third course is due to launch on FutureLearn in Spring 2016.
What Does the Course Cover?
‘Managing My Investments’ aims to give you the knowledge and confidence to take charge of your investments and your financial future.
By taking the course, you’ll learn about:
- the different investment choices available to you;
- the risks and returns associated with investments;
- past performance;
- the practicalities of involvement in financial markets; and
- investor behaviour and the traits that can impair effective decision making.
If you usually struggle to stick to your New Year’s resolutions, taking a moderated course with FutureLearn can help. By signing up, you receive weekly updates to help you stay on track.
